 Velocity Care is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Ken Miller to our practice. Dr. Miller joins our staff as the fifth board certified emergency medicine physician at Velocity Care. He has practiced Emergency Medicine for the past 18 years.
Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Louisiana-Monroe with degrees in both Pre-Medicine and Medical Technology. In 1990, he graduated from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport.
Dr. Miller served as Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and completed his residency program there in 1993. He joined the faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport and also began practicing Emergency Medicine at Christus Schumpert Health System. Since 1995, Dr. Miller has worked in the Emergency Departments at Christus Schumpert St. Mary Place and Highland Hospital.
Dr. Miller is from Monroe, Louisiana. He is married with three children. He enjoys his family and friends, college football, hunting, cooking and travel.
